Proprietary Source Licence

The German version of this document is the legally binding one. Translations are provided for convenience only and create no rights of their own.

This notice covers the source code and packaged libraries of Verheyden Tech. It is addressed to developers who obtain a repository or a NuGet package — not to end users of the shipped applications. See “End users” below.

Not open source

This software is proprietary. No right to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense or sell the source code or any package derived from it is granted, whether expressly, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, except under a separate written agreement signed by Verheyden Tech.

Access to a repository or to a Verheyden Tech package feed does not constitute such a grant.

Restrictions

Without prior written permission you may not:

disclose, publish or redistribute the source code or any part of it;
decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the compiled assemblies, except where mandatory law expressly permits it (in Germany: §§ 69d, 69e UrhG);
remove, alter or obscure copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.

The source code, its architecture and the contents of the private package feed are treated as trade secrets within the meaning of the German Trade Secrets Act (GeschGehG); access is restricted and protected by appropriate technical measures.

Third-party components

Products built from this source include third-party open-source components under their own licences. Those licences govern the respective component and take precedence over this notice for that component. The notices are shipped with each product.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this notice limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or under mandatory product liability law.

End users

Rights to use a shipped Verheyden Tech application are granted solely by the end-user licence agreement accompanying that application — not by this notice:
